The Kerid is a unique freestanding bath by Victoria + Albert, inspired by traditional Nordic bathing rituals. Unlike conventional baths, it is designed for deep immersion, bringing an authentic spa experience into the home. Ideal for both relaxing hot baths and invigorating cold plunges, it is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
The bath stands out for its unusual proportions, measuring just 135 cm in length and 85 cm in height. Its compact dimensions take up less floor space than conventional freestanding baths while still allowing comfortable deep immersion. An integrated seat provides a comfortable bathing position, while the elegantly bevelled upper rim offers pleasant support for the head and neck.
A distinctive design feature is the sharply bevelled lower edge, which creates a striking floating effect, making the bath appear to hover gently above the floor. The bath also features an integrated internal overflow, preserving its clean, minimalist appearance.
The Kerid received the Best Bath award at the Ideal Home Awards 2026. For a harmonious and beautifully coordinated bathroom, it can be paired with the Kerid 43 basin and Kerid step, which share the collection's distinctive design features.
